Starting wit1h Version 2.3.0, Alternative Sentencing requires an updated Crossroads System database that contains the counties, parishes, and senatorial districts for the U.S. states. This updated database is compatible with all current versions of the Crossroads Software product line.

The current version was released August 25, 2010 and now has a complete listing of counties and parishes. Alaska was converted from senatorial districts to boroughs. The previous version was released August 8, 2005.

Another new feature with the new Crossroads System database is the ability to retrieve the county as well as the city and state from the US Zip Code. If you have a list of zip codes in your area or find a county that is misspelled, send us an email from the Service Request web page.

This database IS NOT backwards compatible with previous versions of Alternative Sentencing! Only download the updated database if you are running version 2.3.0 or later. Prior to downloading, make sure all users are out of Alternative Sentencing. Save the file on top of your existing CRSYS.MDB file. As always, it is safest to make a copy of the original version before saving the new one.
